When you are level 5, you can apply for a master.  If you applied a master successfully, every time you level up, both of your master and you will get rewards from system.  

 

What's more, when you reach level 15, you can get some extra rewards by doing master and apprentice quest.  The quest can be accepted at NPC Mastership Elder.   

 

Left click "Master" button at the lower right corner of the game interface to open "Master and Apprentice" System.  Either click "Apply" or "Master List" button will let you apply for a master.

Method 1: by "Apply" option
Left click "Apply" of the "Master" interface will pop up an input box.  Input the master's name to the box and then click "OK".  It will be successful if the master accepts your application.

Left click "Master List", select the player that you want to apply for, and then click "Apply" button on the "Master List" interface.  It will be successful if the master accepts your application.
